Individual Rights and Religious Liberty
Government should protect the rights of individuals and families, not impose one-size-fits-all mandates that override personal conscience. I will defend religious liberty, parental rights, and medical freedom because these are core to who we are as Americans.
My own experience as a nurse during COVID – with years of exemplary service as a dedicated frontline caregiver supporting medical freedom – showed me how quickly government overreach can destroy livelihoods and silence principled voices. No Washingtonian should lose their job or be coerced into medical decisions against their beliefs.
I have a long history of standing up for the vulnerable, including pro-child advocacy since the early 1970s, debating in nursing school, and participating in outreach that demonstrates the value of every human life.
In Olympia, I will work to prevent future mandates, protect freedom of worship and speech, and ensure parents – not bureaucrats – make decisions for their children. Individual rights must come before government demands, and true tolerance means respecting differing views rather than silencing them.
