Protecting Homeowners and Property Rights

As a longtime homeowner and property owner, I understand the pride and responsibility that come with maintaining a home and building a legacy for your family. I will give homeowners a strong voice in Olympia and oppose policies that erode property rights or make it harder for working people to afford housing and pass wealth to the next generation.

Decisions about land use, taxes, and regulations must consider the impact on the people who actually pay the bills and keep communities stable. My motivation includes my grandchildren – I want them to inherit opportunities, not burdens.

Strong property rights support stable neighborhoods, local businesses, and family investment in our area. I will fight measures that treat homeowners as an afterthought. I will advocate for a balanced approach that respects individual ownership while addressing broader needs.

Protecting property rights is fundamental to freedom, security, and the American Dream in our LD 46 and across Washington.
